opening ludwig space ⎪ munich, de

February 1st, 2023

On January 31, 2023, I am opening the ludwig space gallery at Ludwigstrasse 7, directly on Odeonsplat – to be understood as a “Munich art window” – which shows contemporary art positions and is open to dialogue with high-ranking guests from culture, business, society and politics.

Art that broadens horizons
Would you like to come into contact with artists, who work at the cutting edge and immerse yourself in their captivating visual worlds? Are you interested in personal encounters with established and up-and-coming artists? Is it the passionate art collectors and art lovers in whose community you would like to discuss and discover the future of art?

From February 1, 2023, the ludwig space will be busy with
exhibition presentations and Gallery Talks all about the pressing issues of our time, such as the scarcity of resources, social change, gender, digitization or cultural politics. The Viennese artist Judith Fegerl starts with the red hot topic of energy. She has been working with the medium of electricity at the interface of technology, art and science for 20 years. Her works are traded internationally at the Frieze Art Fair and Art Basel, among others. In 2023 she will be exhibiting in solo exhibitions at the Kunstraum Dornbirn and the Museumsquartier in Vienna. From April, the Munich painters, Janka Zöller and Elisa Breyer, master students of Karin Kneffel's class, will follow with a newly strengthened femininity in realism.

The title of the first exhibition "live wire" sets the leitmotif for the ludwig space: an energetic exhibition space that introduces you to new artists and offers opportunities for networking.
Just stop by (more info at www.ludwig-space.com or Instagram).
